We
dispense both NHS and private prescriptions. We also keep record of what we
supply, so we can tell whether it is safe for you to take the newly prescribed
medicine together with any other medication you may be taking, and we will give
advice on how to get the most benefit from your medicines. The labels on your medicines will alert you
to any precautions you should take, such as avoiding alcohol or not driving. We
keep a comprehensive stock of medicines and remedies and use a fast and
efficient wholesaler service to enable us to fill all prescriptions promptly.
You can be
confident that our counter staffs are properly trained through accredited
courses, ensuring they can provide advice on common ailments, treatments and
medicines. You may be asked some simple questions and our staff may refer you
to the pharmacist before you buy anything. This is to ensure that you get the
most suitable advice or product.
We have a
wide range of well-known products available, many of which you can buy from a
pharmacy. If you wish, you can talk in confidence to the pharmacist about
common ailments and their treatments.

leaflets covering many of the topics we frequently get asked about. Look out

cannot help you ourselves. Ask to speak to the pharmacist on duty.
Information about
Prescription medicines
Many of
the medicines we dispense for you are supplied in the manufacturer’s original

is required by law. Please speak to the pharmacist if there is anything in the
leaflet, which you are unsure about or you want to know anything else. Where
possible we use child resistant containers unless you ask us not to. Please
remember: keep all medicines out of the
reach and sight of children. Our pharmacist can advice you on safe storage
of medicines.

assistants are available for advice on all medicines and minor ailments, in
private if required. We can also give you advice on how to live a healthy life,

and assistance if we cannot help you ourselves.
